Welcome to the Dragon Rising Wellness Blog Page!


After many years of practicing tai chi, and teaching for these past 10 years, we decided that it is time to create a website to reach more people. This will enable us to more effectively share our love for tai chi, its benefits, and other offerings.


Our students will learn how to attain a meditative state, increase physical strength and grace by understanding the inner workings of tai chi. We include meditation at the end of our classes to ensure that people finish the lesson feeling relaxed and refreshed.


Our class is tailored to expose the new practitioner to concepts that include: feeling energy, qi, and how to move and release the energy. This may be by using breathwork during movement, or other modalities like pranayama. We can sense that our spirit expresses through the physical while doing tai chi - this is a very important benefit that you can not only experience during class, but are able to carry this awareness into your daily life.


I began my mindfulness journey through tai chi, and then branched out by learning Reiki and guided meditations. I also offer Reiki and mantra meditations together by appointment.
